Cry Out: Poem #2

Photo by Tima Miroshnichenko on Pexels.com

I can barely hear my heart;

It’s beating, but not so fast.

I’m homeless all over again.

I can barely breathe.

God, where are You?

Yet I know you’re here

Being with me,

All along.

This is hard.

So hard.

I want to be happy again.

But my truest heart is barely alive, barely beating.

I’m not real anymore.

I want to lose myself in the present moment,

Only then will I be free.
